PALOMINO TOURS.
Palomino Tours is a very small company owned by Kattya Corrales. Kattya was born in the beautiful mountain community of Monteverde. She and her brother David (a local guide) were educated at the Quaker school. Kattya learned her perfect English at an early age.
This lady likes to stay busy! She and her husband Celimo own a modern van, and offer private transfers in and out of Monteverde. When you are picked up for your transfer to Monteverde, chances are it will be Kattya or Celimo doing the driving.
Of course, no one knows more about the Monteverde area than Kattya. You will have a lot to talk about on your drive here! Ask her about her Tuk-Tuk tours! Kattya also has a small chinese three wheeled open cart. Kind of like a rickshaw. She uses this to show our clients the local community. She customizes each tour to the client. Want to tour the numerous art galleries and studios? Not a problem! She can show you local color, local restaurants, local history, etc. What's your pleasure? She has even taken the guys to see the local hardware stores! This is the most fun morning you can spend in Monteverde!
When she is not assisting our Costa Rica clients, she works with her family to operate the best local horseback tour in the area, that includes their own farm. She loves animals of all types. Always family oriented, Kattya enjoys spending her spare time at home with her extended family.
